CONTERN – Jean-Pol Clart, Director of VALERES Konstruktioun S.A., is proud of his company’s achievements in the 10 years since it was created in Luxembourg. Ensuring the continuity of his construction business is a real motivator for him and his colleagues at this time. The tools that VALERES uses to achieve its goals are sustainable development and on-going professional training.

The VALERES group came into existence when Marc Diver, current CEO and director of the group holding company, purchased the foreign subsidiaries of the Antwerp company Verelst. After the name was changed to VALERES (FORCE and VALUES), the holding company bought another four prefabricated concrete companies: Goudezeune Industriebouw, Juma Béton, Atlas Béton and Condeco. The group’s expansion continued with the acquisition of STAHLBAU BREHNA (former East Germany). The group now has an international presence, with distinct legal and operational entities in Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This European group now employs more than 550 people and has an average annual turnover of EUR 150 million.

VALERES Konstruktioun S.A. will therefore celebrate its tenth birthday in 2010 and continue to place its strengths in the spotlight, namely personal service to clients, the flexibility of its customised construction projects and the implementation of all aspects of sustainable development within this framework.
What is more, Innovation, Creativity and Initiative are not just empty words for us, but rather our group philosophy, which we live and carry through at all levels of our business.

News
The latest news concerns two administrative campus developments at Contern and Windhof.
The current construction of eight buildings (total +/- 24,000 m2) in Contern will eventually make it possible to accommodate 1,000 new and existing jobs. The first building was pre-let in its entirety before it was completed, while the second is already partly occupied by the Class’croute® restaurant.
The campus in Windhof will feature six administrative buildings, with office facilities covering over 19,000 m2. Just as in Contern, we will be putting the emphasis on new technologies, in order to reduce operating costs and to offer an efficient and sound environment to tenants.
These two ambitious projects, situated at geographically strategic points, are a response to the need to reduce costs and for flexible spaces.
