Campus Contern by VALERES Konstruktioun
VALERES Konstruktioun S.A. has presented to the press its new building project, named “Campus Contern”. As part of a joint venture with a foreign partner structuring and managing investment portfolios throughout Europe (Teesland iOG), and by means of its financial structure, VALERES Konstruktioun will this month begin the construction of a 3,000-m² administrative building on the Contern site. This integrated-concept building with its innovative design, which will be available in one year’s time, will be the first element of the Campus Contern, a site made up of eight buildings with equal surface area, finally amounting to a total surface area of 24,000 m².
This leafy, next-generation site, situated close to Luxembourg City and to the airport, will offer a very large number of parking facilities with almost one parking spot per employee, fitted rentable offices starting from half floors of a total of 350 m², including standard fittings and very affordable rental fees. “The entire project will be built around a green site of lawns and trees, offering future users a campus-style atmosphere. The construction of the buildings will also take into consideration new environmental standards, notably in terms of energy savings and the use of sustainable materials,” said Emmanuel Vanquin, Sales Manager of VALERES.
The site will be integrated in a former industrial district, on which high-status administrative buildings have been developed over the years, occupied by such renowned companies as IBM or IEE, with architecture reminiscent of the building designs seen in Kirchberg.
“VALERES, active in five European countries, employs some 600 people and had a net turnover of EUR 100 million in 2007. Last year the Luxembourg branch achieved a net turnover of EUR 15 million with 15 partners,” said Jean-Pol Clart, Director of VALERES Luxembourg.
